Smoke-Free Santo Domingo Hotel

Within the framework of our commitment to being a sustainable hotel and due to the necessity of protecting the environment and offering a smoke-free setting, Hotel Santo Domingo is joining the Smoke-Free Hotels.

After listening to our customers’ requests for spaces not polluted by tobacco related substances and the difficulty in getting rid of the smell in our rooms, even after more than 12 hours of ventilation, our 202 rooms will become non-smoking rooms in order to offer the best experience to our customers.

We would like to ask for the collaboration of all our guests in the compliance with the new rules. Today, 1st February 2019, a thorough cleaning process has started and from this date smoking or using electronic cigarettes is prohibited in every area of the hotel, except for the open-air terraces. Those who do not comply with this rule will incur in a fine of 150€, which will be charged to their account, as a fee for the cleaning of the room or the space where the infringement took place.

Smoking is a danger to health. Smoke and cigarette butts pollute the environment, as it takes them up to 10 years to degrade. Therefore, we kindly request cooperation from all our guests in helping us to make our Hotel a healthy and eco-friendly environment.
